On rare occasions, if a student applying to the Orchestra & Chamber Music program of the Conservatory is not able to attend all five weeks of the program, AFA may permit that applicant to attend AFA on a part-time basis. Students in the piano, jazz, composition, choir or middle school departments may not attend AFA part-time. Admissions preference will be given to orchestral applicants who are able to attend AFA for the full five-week program.
